ARTISTS AT PLAY

Classes & Workshops

Our classes are designed for actors at every level—from beginners exploring the craft to experienced artists refining their technique. Grounded in the Artists at Play approach, each class prioritizes truth, presence, and preparation while creating a space where actors can take risks, grow, and play.

We focus on building strong, repeatable tools that support you in any performance setting—on stage, on camera, and in the audition room.

In every class, you will:

  • Strengthen your connection to text, partner, and environment

  • Develop a clear, reliable acting process

  • Build confidence in auditions and performances

  • Learn how to prepare deeply without over-planning

  • Explore authentic choices rooted in truth and imagination

Our Approach

At Artists at Play, we believe the best work happens when actors feel both challenged and supported. Our “lead in love” philosophy creates an environment rooted in accountability, trust, and artistic freedom.

You won’t just learn how to act—you’ll learn how to show up, trust your instincts, and do the work with confidence.

Artists at Play Acting Studio is proud to be in residence at The Gordon, in the beautiful Pensacola Florida.  The Gordon is  a vibrant creative space dedicated to artistic growth and community. This partnership allows us to offer high-quality training, workshops, and performances in an environment that supports both emerging and professional artists.

At The Gordon, we continue our mission to create a space where actors can train, take risks, and do truthful work.

“Working with Marci changed the way I approach acting. I stopped trying to get it right and started telling the truth.”

Zoe Thomas

“She creates a space where you feel safe enough to take risks—and that’s where the real work happens.”

Hayden Palvus

“I’ve never felt more prepared walking into an audition. The tools I gained are practical, repeatable, and actually work.”

Madison McNair

“The growth I experienced wasn’t just as an actor, but as a person. That’s what makes her work different.”
