Marci J. Duncan earned her BA in Performance from Florida A&M University and her MFA in Acting from the University of Florida. She also studied television and film acting with Evonne Suhor at Orlando’s Art Sake Acting Studio. Her film credits include "(Just) Another Day," co-starring with Jamie Hector, and Life Is Not a Fairytale: The Fantasia Barrino Story, alongside Debbie Allen and Fantasia Barrino. Her recent television work includes appearances on Young Rock. On stage, Marci has performed Florida Girls, a one-woman show at Emerald Coast Theatre Company, as well as What the Constitution Means to Me at New Stage Theatre and Natural Shocks at Mill Mountain Theatre, which was featured on What Would You Do?. Marci serves as the Audition Director for Southeastern Theatre Conference, one of the largest unified audition events in the country. She is currently the Director of the Acting Program at the University of West Florida and is touring nationally with her original play, Dissonance, which she wrote and co-produced. Marci is the host of the podcast Journey to Queendom. A podcast centered around healing from the survival mode lifestyle.

Our studio is located in the beautiful city of Pensacola, Florida. Artists at Play Acting Studio is in residence at the Gordon Theatre in the historic Belmont-DeVilliers community.
